Speed Skating: List of new Olympic Records

The Speed Skating competition at Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 has already seen plenty of long-standing Olympic records being broken and there's still more to come! Here's what has happened so far:
Men's 5000m - Event Results
After breaking the World Record in January, Norway's Sander Eitrem broke the Olympic record to clinch the Gold medal. 
Women's 3000m - Event Results
Local star Francesca Lollobrigida pleased the crowd by creating a new Track and Olympic Record in the Women's 3000m category. 
Women's 1000m - Event Results
Dutch skater Jutta Leerdam did a double as she created a new Track and Olympic Record in the Women's 1000m category.
Men's 1000m - Event Results
USA's Jordan Stolz has lived up to the expectations. In his first race at Milan, he broke the Track and Olympic record.
Men's 500m - Event Results
Sensational Stolz continued to impress and created a new Olympic record in the 500m category to claim his second Olympic gold medal of the tournament.
Women's 500m - Event Results
The world-record holder Femke Kok now also has the Olympic record to her name. She also claimed the Track Record in the category.
